"ALBA Zenica" Ltd Zenica was founded in 1999. The majority owner is ALBA Group AG from Berlin. ALBA Group plc & Co KG provided the necessary equipment and mode of operation. The Municipality of Zenica, as a co-owner and partner, provided adequate work space, domestic labor force and management staff.
Our main activity is the maintenance of communal hygiene in the city of Zenica, waste disposal, collection and delivery of usable materials.
In addition, we maintain the city's green areas, clean and wash traffic and parking areas, provide services for the maintenance of football fields, and in winter we maintain the passability of areas for vehicles and pedestrians in the city of Zenica.
We have a modern fleet, facilities and equipment for sorting and pressing usable materials, composting plants, greenhouses and a bio-boiler room.
Considering that the headquarters of the company and the recycling yard are located in Zenica, the activity of "ALBA Zenica" Ltd. Zenica is harmonized with the positive legal regulations of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Zenica-Doboj Canton related to environmental protection and communal activities.
In accordance with the Waste Management Plan of ZE-DO Canton, the collected municipal waste is permanently disposed of at the Regional Landfill Mošćanica, which is not the management area of "ALBA Zenica" Ltd Zenica.
